Expert Witness

Bill Stewart is President of Claims Training Services (CTS), and is the author and presenter of numerous seminars used by insurers throughout the United States.  He has also taught on the college level and was a Lecturer at Monmouth University and taught at Brookdale Community College.  He spent 15 years with an insurance company and five years with an insurance industry association before forming Claims Training Services, A Service of William Stewart Associates, Inc. in 1996.

He was awarded the Associate in Claims - AIC designation in 1980, the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Designation - CPCU designation in 1992 and the Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional Designation – CSRP in 2005.  He is also a New Jersey Licensed Insurance Producer.  He served on the Institute’s Associate in Claims Advisory Committee and is a contributing author to two Institute textbooks.  He has published numerous articles that have appeared in Claims Magazine and is the Editor of the Second Edition of Subrogation Recovery: Principles and Practices. 

Bill has been retained by plaintiffs and defendants on matters pending in State and Federal Court involving:

Bill has also been qualified by the New Jersey Superior Court as a testifying expert.
